温室内の花売店には、姉妹園「加茂荘花鳥園」で生まれた特別なオリジナルアジサイ「Kamoセレクション」
が所せましと並んでいます。アジサイは母の日の贈り物にもピッタリ。ぜひ手に取って選んでみて下さい。The flower shop in the
greenhouse is filled with"Kamo Selection", special original hydrangeas from the
sister garden Kamoso Kachoen. Hydrangeas are the perfect gift for Mother’s Day.
Please come and pick one for yourself.
エリモシャクナゲ
そして外庭では、カモちゃんたちの集う池の周りのエリモシャクナゲ
も満開です。エリモシャクナゲは北海道は襟裳岬周辺に生えるハクサンシャクナゲですが、富士山麓の気候がよく合っているらしく、毎年それは大きなピンクの花をつけます。5月初旬の今がまさに見頃です。
In the outdoor garden, the Erimo rhododendrons around the pond where the
ducklings gather are also in full bloom. The Erimo rhododendron grows around
Cape Erimo in Hokkaido, but it seems to be well adapted to the climate at the
foot of Mt. Fuji.

富士花鳥園おなじみのクリンソウ
は今年も元気です。クリンソウは日本原産のサクラソウ科サクラソウ属の多年草。毎年、富士花鳥園植物スタッフの手で大事に育てられています。Fuji Kachoen’s
famous clindamens are doing well again this year. Clindamens are perennial
plants of the primrose family, Primula, native to Japan.They are carefully
tended by the Fuji Kachoen staff every year.
