On-Demand Delivery for DEAN & DELUCA’s Roppongi store Delivering a colorful menu
to your home or office FOOD-E (Food-e Co., Ltd.), the gourmet delivery service
operating in central Tokyo, has partnered with DEAN & DELUCA (operated by
Welcome Co., Ltd.) to launch on-demand delivery for their Roppongi store. The
service starts September 12th, 2022 (Monday).
On the FOOD-E app, users can order popular in-store items such as groceries,
sweets, and gifts as well as select 6 of their favorite deli items to be
delivered in an exclusive “Deli Selection Box.” Orders are usually delivered in
about 60 minutes or can be scheduled in 30-minute time-slots for up to 8 weeks
in advance.
Anyone living or working within a 7km radius of DEAN & DELUCA Roppongi can
access the service by simply registering on the FOOD-E website or by downloading
the FOOD-E iOS or Android app.
The FOOD-E service can be used for a variety of purposes, from everyday dining
to large party events and office meetings. Dedicated phone and email customer
support is available to answer any questions and to help users place orders
outside of the delivery area, under certain conditions.

Born in Chicago, Seth Sulkin came to Japan in 1987 as a Tokyo correspondent for
the Wall Street Journal. In 1995, he founded Pacifica Capital, a commercial real
