人生100年時代の健康寿命延伸へ貢献 ヘルスケアイノベーション・アイデアコンテスト ジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソン「クイックファイアー・チャレンジ」を始動
ジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソン イノベーションは、 ジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソン日本法人グループ*（本社：東京都千代田区、
以下ジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソン）と共同で、 ヘルスケアイノベーション・アイデアコンテスト「Japan Smart Healthy Aging
QuickFire Challenge（クイックファイアー・チャレンジ）」を開催します。
本コンテストは、 健康寿命の延伸と、
高齢者の生活の質向上（QOL）への貢献を目標とするジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソンの取り組み「スマート・ヘルシー・エイジング・イニシアティブ（SHAI）」**の一環です。
人生100年時代において、 一人ひとりが健康で充実した日常生活を長きにわたって送ることができる「スマート・ヘルシー・エイジング」社会の実現は大きな課題です。
本コンテストではその実現の一助になるよう、 １.ビジョン（眼科） ２.オンコロジー（がん領域） ３.整形外科（変形性関節症を含む）４.デジタル手術
５.脳血管系疾患の5つのエリアにおけるイノベーションのアイデアを募集します。
ジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソンではグローバルレベルでクイックファイアー・チャレンジを行っています。
2050年には、 アジア太平洋地域の4人に1人が60歳以上となり、 高齢者人口は2010年から2050年の間に3倍の約13億人になると予想されています*1。
世界トップクラスの長寿国である日本では*2、 すでに65歳以上の高齢者人口が全人口の30％近くを占めています*3。 しかし、
日本における平均寿命と健康寿命には約10年の差があるとされ *4、 65歳以上の高齢者の約63%が、
複数の慢性疾患を併せ持つ「多疾患罹患」であると言われています*5。 多疾患罹患は、 身体機能の低下、 QOLの低下、
さらには死亡率の上昇につながることが報告されています。 *6 複数の慢性疾患を抱えた高齢者の増加により、 今後さらに社会保障費の増加が予想される中*7、
人々の健康寿命の延伸は大きな社会課題です。
こうした状況を受けて、 医療機器（眼科用医療機器含む）・医療用医薬品・消費財の知見を持つジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソンでは、
「スマート・ヘルシー・エイジング」社会の実現に向けた取り組みを、 産官学の連携を通して推進しています。 その一環として、
本コンテストでは健康寿命の延伸に貢献するアイデアを広く求めています。
本コンテストの受賞チームには、 ジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソンより、 最大総額30万ドルの助成金が提供されます。 また、
ジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソンのインキュベーションラボであるJLABS@上海での1年間の専用デスクを含むジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソン イノベーション –
JLABS アジア太平洋コミュニティへのバーチャルアクセスやジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソンのエキスパートによるメンター制度もご利用いただけます。
ジョンソン・エンド・ジョンソンは、 SHAIおよび本コンテストを通して生み出される日本発のイノベーションがモデルケースとなり、
世界的課題である健康寿命の延伸に貢献することを目指しています。
